Cat toilet training

Our kitten is using the Litter Kwitter, phase 1 ! I love how One squints with pleasure when he pees. “Ahhh… That’s goooood…” Then One sees Zero playing with a twig and wants to join him, but decides to cover his pee first. Cute ! After they get used to this, we’ll move on to phase 2 (in a week or two) with a hole in the middle of the tray. You can look up the process on www.litterkwitter.com So far, I’m optimistic! We tried citykitty but it didn’t work for us. The plastic was too thin and wobbly for our cats. It has taken us a long time to reach this point in the training because one of the cats is a lot slower (AHEM*Zero*AHEM) than the other. But he makes up for it by being really nice.

Don’t watch them when they poop & pee. They hate it
My cats love it. When they go in the right spot they get a dried fish as a reward. They call me to come look at them from across the house. They are NOT shy cats.
